hands down, the spring assist is... interesting. I tried using the curved part thats on the "spine of the knife" the part that makes sure your thumb doesnt slip. Using that as a potential way to fling this open hurts/sucks minimally. However, using the nice little blocking piece of metal that makes sure your hand isnt cut by the blade is much more convenient.
Overall, a 3 is probably a bit of a tough critic's point. This damn thing has an amazingly tight clip... which is lacking on most knives. The thing that cuts seat belts i assume is not razor sharp. Which it "should" be... but i think out of the box would do it in a pinch, of course, if you have the ability to sharpen it do so. I didn't care for the window breaker it seemed cheesey. It may not be great for the little old grandmother types but for a working adult, i see no problem.
Pro's: sharp balde, feels decent, heavy weight, nice strong/tight pocket clip. Camo on the blade looks great.
Con's: some features could use some tweaking. A bit more ergonomics would make this sensational at this price

This is my third Tac Force knife, and I will continue to buy them for good reason. My past experience with them is that they are great quality, especially considering the price. They can take a beating, and even treating it as rough as I could, my last one lasted well over a year and a half of abuse. That said, I hope this one gives me a similar experience.
Right out of the box, I am happy that I ordered this style. The knife arrived well oiled, and will need to be broken in as the spring assist is still a little twitchy~ that's to be expected though. This knife is much heavier & heftier than I'd expected, it feels solid in my hand. The blade looks exactly as photographed, the window punch is very standard for this style knife, as is the seat belt blade.
If you are looking for an inexpensive knife that you can beat on and not mind if it breaks eventually, then you are looking in the right direction!
Arguably, these knives are the absolute best for the price especially when compared to brands such as M-Tech, Trademark, Matrix, or most other brands you'd find at the local mall import shops.

I got this mainly for the urban camo look of the blade. I give it 5 stars except that you can't flick it open all the way with your finger. You open the blade with the assist and then flick it the rest of the way open with a flick of your wrist. There is no "spring" like the other reviewer said and i don't know how he could have broke it. It feels very sturdy to me. Great look, great price, great knife... Just flick your wrist to open. People familiar with folders already know how to do that, easy.
