By Christopher Kopidlansky
It's funny, I had been emailing back and forth with sarah from kershaw and one of the questions I asked was about color. Im sick to death of black knives, and im no longer an infantryman so I have no use for tactical. She really didnt know much about future color options, but great customer service! They value their customers for sure. Anyway, I guess I'll use bullets for pro's and con's
Pro's
1. Its yellow!. I recieved my kershaw catalog and while flipping through this I see it and within ten minutes it had been ordered. I like bright colors if I drop it or sit somewhere it just stands out better. I know they have the scallion with other colors but did not want alluminum.
2. It's Not alluminum. I dont buy them and really prefer GRN or G10. I just think it feels better in my hand and less slippage in wet enviro's. Won't scratch either.
3.Normally on kershaws edc's that i buy do not have any jimping. This one has a great ramp with jimping and jimping in the choil as well.
4. Grippy. I dont mean supper grippy but more grip that anodized.
5. I really like the blade design, sorta re-curve. Good for widdlin.
6. Fully steel lined, yet maintains light weight, also 3 holes drilled into blade to lighten without sacrificing integrity
7. Very fast deployment with very little effort.
Con's
1. Pocket clip cannot be moved and it is a tip down carry. This is fine with me as I leave most of my knives that way but throwing the options in would have been nice.
2. The top of the liner is mostly covered so a little tougher to clean. I'm a little OC with knives and they get cleaned, oiled, and wiped down whether they need it or not.
3 Clip could have mounted a smidge higher for those who care. I personally don't mind unless it gets really crazy low. It does have a lengthy clip

there was a small click in the handle from the spring mechanism every time I closed the blade but other than that it is a great buy

Not sure I like the plastic handle. Wish it had been metal.
Wonder about the locking mechanism, if it will hold up as
the knife is sharpened.
